We brought in two Wii games and put them in a small room just next to our reception room. We hired a babysitter to take care of the very young ones (who actually stayed in a hospitality suite in the same hotel so the kids could go to sleep) but the Wii games were perfect for the 8-14 year olds – and of course the 24 year olds who are addicted to Wii!
People told us they thought this was a brilliant idea! We had our groomsmen set everything up - it was a good task to assign to them.

We had potato sack races, a full on baseball game and served hot dogs, hamburgers, cotton candy, and peanuts. We had checkers and other board games out as well. Did kids have fun? Hell yes! Did the adults have fun??? It was a blast for everyone! This would not have been the best reception for every couple but it was perfect for us!
